Remembrance Day

On Friday 9th November, the children and staff marked Remembrance Day. This year it was particularly significant since it had been one-hundred years since the end of World War One. Each class found out about the war and the sacrifices people from across the globe made for our freedom and liberty. As part of the commemorations, a wreath of poppies was made by each year group. These were displayed during assembly and wishes for peace in the future were shared with the school community.
