Film Night

On 18th January 2016 Edna G. Olds Academy hosted a movie night as part of their ongoing fundraising. The money raised will be put towards curriculum enrichment activities during the summer term.
A list of movies that pupils wanted to watch was gathered by the pupil voice council representatives in each class. The list then went back to the pupil voice council, who after considering all the movies suggested, decided on ‘Shrek the Third’ as it was a movie everyone could enjoy!
At 3 o’clock the children entered the hall in preparation for the film to begin at 3:15pm. The hall was set up just like a real cinema and the children were able to enjoy snacking on their popcorn and drink. The event was a great success and pupil voice look forward to considering new ways of raising money for the school.
