On 25th September children across the school enjoyed a Spanish themed day. After an assembly on Hispanic culture, the children returned to their classes to learn about the food, traditions and festivals of Spanish speaking countries. In year 6, the children enjoyed making pan de Cataluňa, Spanish bread rubbed with garlic, tomato and olive oil. Year 5 made tortilla while Year 2 put their culinary skills to the test by making gaspacho. At the end of the day, parents were invited to come into school so that the children could share their learning.
